Bliss Lau has a way with turning fine lines into a piece of abstract art. Each piece in her jewellery line, including rings and body chains, is by design architectural, edgy, yet soft and delicate—something that makes people look twice at the creations.

The New York-based jewellery designer, who has Chinese and American roots, launched her eponymous brand over a decade ago, and has since achieved much success across the world as a creative entrepreneur. (Beyoncé wore one of the body chains in her 2013 video, "Drunk in Love".)

In a recent interview, we asked her what three things creative entrepreneurs should keep in mind when starting out and how they should stay inspired.
