  1. According to a report by The Independent and cybersecurity firm Sixgill, digital murder isn't the only crime being committed in the Fortnite universe. V-bucks, the in-game currency, are now being used to launder actual money from stolen credit cards.
  2. At the annual DLD conference, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg unveiled five new ways the company is addressing scandals it has faced in the past year, including protections against election interference, making sure people can control their own data and Mark Zuckerberg giving users $1,000 each. I made that last one up, but think about it, Zuck.
  3. Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. As we recognize the life of this great leader, consider this, one of his many inspirational calls to action: "The time is always right to do what is right."
