What Robert Herjavec Is Doing to Help 'Not-Ready-For-Shark Tank' Businesses The 'Shark Tank' judge has launched a new web series highlighting small businesses.

"Show me a struggling small business, and I'll show you an entrepreneur who is having personal challenges."

So says Robert Herjavec in an exclusive sit-down video interview with Entrepreneur.

Herjavec knows all-to-well the financial and emotional stress running a small business can put on an owner, which is why he helped launch Small Business Revolution, a web series featuring Deluxe Corporation's Amanda Brinkman and Herjavec that seeks to help out communities of entrepreneurs in need.

As described on the show's site, "In early 2016, we put out a call for nominations looking for one special small town that would benefit from a $500,000 boost for its small businesses and downtown area. After nearly 10,000 nominations and 180,000 votes were cast, we set out for Wabash, Ind. The web series tells the story of the inspiring people we met and the challenges they faced -- with insights and lessons we hope will help other small-business owners facing similar challenges."

Herjavec says that he is focusing on these not-yet-ready for Shark Tank businesses to help get them over that first crucial hump.

"You are an extension of your business when you are starting out," Herjavic says. "When you're focused and doing things right, then the business is going to do well. When you're not, it is going to struggle."
