Young-Social Entrepreneur Miki Agrawal on Blazing Your Own Trail In her new book Do Cool Sh*t, Miki Agrawal discusses the importance of living the life you want, not what others expect of you.

By Andrea Huspeni

As soon as you realize that "society" was created by people no different than me and you, then the way you look at the world will change forever.

That's the crux of Miki Agrawal's new book Do Cool Sh*t (HarperBusiness, 2013), which comes out today. The social entrepreneur pulls the curtain back on how young entrepreneurs can get their dream endeavor off the ground, while also doing good for the world. From raising capital to snagging press and making the right connections, Agrawal provides a step-by-step breakdown of how she was able to launch her startup.

And based on her successes, she seems to be on to something. From launching farm-to-table pizza joint WILD in the West Village, teaming up with Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh for a second location in Las Vegas, partnering with her sister for multimedia company Super Sprowtz and launching high-tech underwear line THINX, Agrawal is a force to be reckoned with.

Below, Agrawal makes a case for going against the grain and figuring out how to make your life fulfilled through your own venture:
