On the last episode of Business & Burgers with Les Stroud, Scott Duffy and Alan Taylor learned some excellent business advice from the creator of Survivorman. This time, they'll focus on the importance of technology and knowing how to use it to your benefit. Stroud explains that social media is just the digital version of a billboard, and knowing what you want to put up there for the world to see, and where to project your message, is the key to drawing a crowd. In order to keep that crowd, however, authenticity is crucial. Content is king, and good content is authentic.

But, what about when you're doing all the right things, and you still seem to be stuck? Perseverance, perseverance, perseverance. According to Stroud, there is always a way around whatever obstacle is in your path. You can jump over hurdles, you can go around speed bumps, and if you run into a roadblock, get on a different road. In addition, practice gratitude. Focus every day on what you do have instead of what you don't.
