Help & How-To

Internet/E-Commerce
How do we find a partner for our e-commerce website?
We are a Canadian registered company, with operations basically in China, that sells fashion garments to the markets of US and Europe. We are planning to start an e-commerce outlet in the US to sell the products online. We are seeking the right partner in the US with reasonable experiences and resources. How do we find this partner?

In order to effectively market your product, unless you can form a relationship with a large portal partner (i.e. Yahoo!, MSN, or AOL), you'll need multiple partners through which you can sell your products. Start with CPA networks that can maximize your offers and help build your distribution network. Companies such as Commission Junction (www.cj.com) have large bases of publishers through which you can distribute your products; however, there are literally dozens of these types of networks. In addition to CPA networks, you may want to promote your products through online product sourcing vendors like Worldwide Brands (www.worldwidebrands.com). They can help you reach thousands of online distributors that can promote your products through their site as well as the major online marketplaces like eBay.
