Staged in partnership with du, Against All Odds is an Entrepreneur Middle East Live webinar series that features enterprising women who have risen above personal and professional challenges to develop solutions, launch businesses, and lead global initiatives that make them inspirational role models around the world.

In this edition of Against All Odds, we talk to H.H. Sheikha Intisar AlSabah, the founder of Intisar Foundation, a UK-based humanitarian organization and the first charitable entity in the Middle East that is focused entirely on the psychological healing of Arab women affected by war and violence trauma through the use of drama therapy.

In a wide-ranging conversation with Entrepreneur Middle East Managing Editor Tamara Pupic, H.H. AlSabah talked about the importance of applying entrepreneurial thinking in the field of philanthropy. "You need to focus on impact," she said. "Ïf something is not impactful, one has to stop doing it. There's no ego about it. If it doesn't make an impact, then it is depleting of energy, while providing nothing. In all my initiatives, we always measure the impact."

Watch our video exploring H.H. AlSabah's pioneering work for peacebuilding in the Arab world.
