Founded: 1951 Franchising since: 1955
In 1951, Louis and Gwendolyn Snelling opened their first office, offering permanent placement services to people throughout Philadelphia. Three years later, the company began placing temporary and temporary-to-hire personnel. Snelling started franchising in 1955.

Today Snelling provides temporary and permanent staffing in sales, administrative, technical and office positions for a variety of industries, including medical, engineering, accounting, insurance and light industrial.
