He explains how entrepreneurs need to be mindful about this maxim when they consider how they spend their own time, because many people in your life won't help you push your business forward.

For example, you might have a set of friends who are fun and who you enjoy getting lunch with, but they might not understand your goals and desires. As a result, they're more likely to be a fun diversion from your business than an engine that pushes it forward.
