The MP-82 is an enterpriseclass 802.11 n indoor access point designed for high-density deployments that emphasize throughput capacity over coverage. The Trapeze Networks access point contains dual radios - one operating in the 2.4-GHz band and one in the 5-GHz band--with each radio supporting 2x3 operation (two transmit chains, three receive chains). It features one 10/100/1000-Ethernet port operating in autonegotiation mode for seamlessly adapting to Ethernet infrastructures, and supports all relevant encryption methods, including WPA and WPA2.
