AccuFund release: Version 3.08.

AccuFund, provider of financial reporting and accounting software for nonprofit, municipal and government organizations, released Version 3.08 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite. This latest release features enhancements to many of the system's core modules, most notably budget development, allocations and the financial report writer.

The Budget Development module now offers the ability to conduct detailed planning at the monthly level, and to list budget detail in each account; for example, positions being funded in a particular department.

Budget Development is now integrated with the Grants Management module in the AccuFund Accounting Suite, allowing budgets developed through Grants Management to be processed through Budget Development, and then posted to the General Ledger. When budgets are being developed, the user can determine what areas of the General Ledger are going to be budgeted, whether the project is connected to Grants Management and what period it will post to in the General Ledger. A budget project can be posted to as few or as many periods as desired or across an organization's fiscal year.

Feature enhancements are also included in these other modules in the AccuFund Accounting Suite: Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; AccuFiler; Client Accounting; Core Functions; Fees, Taxes & Licenses; Fixed Assets; General Ledger, Payroll; Grants Management; Payroll; Property Tax; Standard Report Writer; Utility Billing; and Work Orders.
