OurPlace Has Raised $2.35 Million Plus, the NBA and sports betting DraftKings have announced a partnership.

Ourplace is a Los Angeles based startup designing Cookware for rising rents and shrinking cabinet space. OurPlace has raised $2.35 million in financing from investors, including the venture arm of FabFitFun and Will Smith's Dreamers VC. Ourplace is also partnering with the Los Angeles Food Policy Council on an issue that they both care a lot about: access to good food.

The NBA and sports betting business DraftKings announced a multiyear partnership. The NBA will provide official betting data to DraftKings, which the company will make available for consumers on its mobile platform and sportsbooks. The league says it will work with DraftKings to protect the integrity of NBA games.

Work gamification startup Centrical has raised a $13 million in a series C funding round. Centrical helps businesses improve employee engagement, proficiency, and performance through gamification, microlearning and performance management. They will use the funds to step up efforts to revolutionize employee performance and development. The company now has $34 million in total funding.
