Watch Ellen DeGeneres's Epic Mannequin Challenge at The White House Note to Robert De Niro: you're supposed to stand still, Bob.

Ellen Degeneres was one of the mega stars honored with a Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama, and posted a truly epic star-studded mannequin challenge from the White House's green room. Check it out:

It was the mannequin challenge that almost wasn't. Before the ceremony, DeGeneres sent out the following tweet, and she wasn't kidding:

Eventually, security figured out who she is and let her in. Stars in her video included Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, Bruce Springsteen, Bill Gates, Diana Ross and Michael Jordan, all of whom received the Medal of Freedom in a sometimes hilarious, sometimes tearful ceremony. The Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian honor for individuals who have contributed to "security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors."
