Vets, Support, Charity: This Restoration Services Brand Makes Its Mark on the 2025 Franchise 500 Among the top 100 companies once again, PuroClean shows steady growth.

PuroClean

PuroClean has grown into a leading brand within the $210 billion property damage and restoration industry. Yes, it's known for its water, fire/smoke, mold remediation, biohazard removal, and reconstruction services. But what sets this brand apart in such a fast-growing industry is its dedication to its Franchise Owners and to their local communities.

It's really no wonder that PuroClean once again is among the top 100 companies on Entrepreneur's annual Franchise 500 list. This year, it holds the #93 spot—the ninth consecutive year PuroClean has been ranked on the list.

PuroClean has 471 franchise locations across the U.S. and Canada, up more than 43% over the last three years. It scores in the top 15% of all companies for size and growth on this year's list. "PuroClean is committed to building a world-class brand," says PuroClean President and COO Steve White. "We do that by prioritizing the long-term entrepreneurial success of our Franchise Owners ahead of the short-term financial targets of the franchisor."

Taking support up a notch

At PuroClean, franchise success starts from the beginning. PuroClean Franchise Owners undergo three weeks of hands-on damage restoration training in the state-of-the-art, $1.5 million PuroClean Academy in Tamarac, Fla., which includes not only knowledge about PuroClean's specific systems and processes, but also sales, marketing, operational, and field training to cover all facets of this recession-resistant business.

Last year, PuroClean also launched a comprehensive mentorship program that is designed to support new Franchise Owners. "This program provides hands-on experience and guidance in managing all aspects of a franchise, from day-to-day operations to long-term strategic planning," White says.

A welcome home for U.S. military veterans

At PuroClean, one in seven Franchise Owners are veterans, the company says. The reason is simple: The company is serious about empowering veterans to achieve success within its system.

Last year, the company expanded on its PuroVet program, which offers a 25% discount on the initial franchise fee for eligible U.S. military veterans. It introduced the PuroVet Forum, a platform where veteran Franchise Owners can connect, share experiences, and enhance their business operations.

Strengthening its role in local communities

While restoring properties is their business, White says that rebuilding the communities they work in is part of the PuroClean mission. Through the company's PuroClean Cares initiative, it extends its service by actively engaging in community support and charitable activities.

"Our commitment to social responsibility drives us to partner with local and national organizations, contributing through volunteering, donations, and community service," White says. "Every PuroClean office is a vital part of its community, and with PuroClean Cares, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve." This year, PuroClean launched the Adopt a Classroom Campaign, and continued its annual Season of Giving Campaign.

"PuroClean's long-standing investment in Franchise Owner support, our communities, and our robust business model position us exceptionally well to meet the surging demand for restoration services and so much more," White says.
