The 3 Tips for Success That Surprised Tim Ferriss From practical to mind-bending, simple tricks you can use.

By Linda Lacina

Author and entrepreneur Tim Ferriss's new book, Tools of Titans, collects the best advice he's gotten from the world's smartest thinkers and doers. So we asked: What were some of the most surprising tips?

In this video, he walks through three of them -- from the very practical to the mind-alteringly abstract. "If you want to have joy and not just be successful, because they are not at all guaranteed to come together, then you have to have gratitude and appreciation and perspective," Ferriss says.
