Ever wonder how honey is harvested? We'll tell you one thing -- it's more than just bees and a beehive.
In fact, the process is a bit more complex, and it takes the right tools and preparation.
To start, beeswax is removed from the honeycomb with a hot knife that melts away the wax, so it can be cleanly sliced off. After, the honeycomb frames are uncapped and placed in a honey extractor, which pulls the honey from the honeycombs. And . . . voila! You are left with sweet, gooey honey.
