Meetings, business trips, deadlines -- you juggle a lot in the day-to-day running of your business. Thankfully, some carefully selected apps can help you get organized and be ready for anything.

Consider utilizing these five apps to plan out everything you need to keep your company and your schedule running smoothly.

1. Evernote

This app lets you take notes, photos and records and shares them across all devices so you can easily search for them, no matter where you are. You won't spend valuable time e-mailing the same documents over again or looking for a missing piece of your presentation.

2. Tripit

This travel app keeps all your logistics -- confirmations, check-ins, information about flight delays, in-depth itineraries -- all in one place. This could help cut down on the invariably long e-mail chains about trip planning.

3. UberConference

This app is for free conference calls, and is ideal if you have a lot of people on staff working remotely, whether they are based in the U.S. or if they live abroad.

4. ScannerPro

When you download this app onto a smartphone or tablet, it turns them into scanners, so you won't have to worry about losing that scrap of paper or white board outline.

5. Dropbox

The Dropbox mobile app is free and lets you save all your photos, documents and videos in one program, and gives you access to them at all times. It is especially helpful if you're worried about remembering to back up your computers.
