Meet Jennifer Kennedy. After navigating the corporate world, she found notable success but felt something was missing. "I wanted to create something that was truly mine and authentic to me," she says.

Like many working parents, Kennedy was in a constant time crunch. When it came time to buy gifts for friends and family, she struggled to find something thoughtful quickly and conveniently. That's when the idea for HoneyBug hit her. HoneyBug is a company that aims to bring back the joy in gift giving by offering unique and custom gift boxes for birthdays, baby showers and more.

Kennedy started the business in her garage, and it quickly took off. To keep up with demand and keep costs down, she turned to Alibaba.com. "When I began my search for packaging vendors on Alibaba.com, I thought, 'There's no way it is going to be this easy,'" she recalls. "But it really was."

Within 24 hours, the factory she contacted began creating mockups, gathering materials and making suggestions to improve her offering. "We would not have been able to scale the business with the costs associated with the old packaging," she says.

These days, HoneyBug operates out of a warehouse rather than her garage. "It blows my mind how far we've come," Kennedy says. "Seeing my kids running through the warehouse and believing that they, too, can create something and that people will support them? It's what inspires me to push forward every single day."
