How to Differentiate in Your Industry and More John T. Meyer, co-founder and CEO of data visualization company Lemonly, answers questions from followers via Facebook Live.

By Entrepreneur Staff

On this episode of Answers to Questions, Lemonly co-founder and CEO John T. Meyer addresses managing Facebook accounts, differentiating in a niche industry and more.

Business accounts on Facebook can be difficult to navigate because it's unclear whether all content must be sponsored. Meyer suggests posting a variety of content on Facebook, including video and visual content. Facebook can be great for targeting specific audiences, but it has its difficulties.

Meyer also comments that the challenge in a small, niche industry is always differentiation. You must position yourself in a way that appeals to a specific audience and goal. In summary, he says that "if your company is in a newer industry, before you can ever sell, you just have to educate."

Lastly, he looks back on the most useful courses he took in college.
