What OYO Rooms did for the middle class travelers, Thyrocare is doing for the thyroid laboratory industry.

Dr. A Velumani has changed the face of healthcare by adding the franchise model to it. A scientist turned entrepreneur, Dr. Velumani runs the world's largest thyroid testing lab and is taking it to places and people it has never reached before. With Thyrocare he had addressed the slice 4 and 5 of the pyramid. The importance of healthcare cannot be stressed enough and with the increase in population, awareness and per capita, this industry is likely to grow.

Dr. Velumi says that they are already covering every district headquarter in India and have 1200 franchises across the country. By 2020, they aim to reach 5000. His belief in Thyrocare and his team is firm as he says, "We have developed an IT in such a way that just can't make a mistake until otherwise they plan to do one."
