Rehan Ali

Rehan Ali is the Head of Business Banking at the National Bank of Fujairah (NBF).  

Rehan’s journey with NBF started 17 years ago when he joined as a Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking in 2003. In his current role as Head of Business Banking, he is responsible for spearheading and growing the Business Banking portfolio of NBF to generate high profit margins per segment.  

The business banking segment led by Rehan generates more than 20% of the bank’s net profit. He is responsible for managing 1,000+ plus borrowing customers across the UAE coupled by big portfolios of non-borrowing customers. Under Rehan’s leadership, this segment has been undergoing consistent growth over the years, and has become one of the key contributors to the bank in terms of assets, deposits and profitability. Rehan’s mandate has been to ensure the segment’s sustainability as well as its growth.  

Rehan is a seasoned banker with more than 20 years of banking experience in the UAE having worked with different banks including Mashreq Bank and Union National Bank. Rehan has won various awards for products and services, thus cementing NBF’s status in this segment.
