The Tunisian Business Council in Dubai and Northern Emirates recently organized the first Tunisian Startup Forum at in5 in Dubai, with the aim of connecting Tunisia's promising startups to Dubai-based angel and venture capital investors. Furthermore, the council presented the recently-adopted Startup Act, part of the government's broader Digital Tunisia 2020 strategy. The law is expected to make entrepreneurship in Tunisia more competitive internationally, while increasing domestic economic growth.
