Nokia's first ever Android-powered smartphone has already been announced to the public, and it looks like the company is going to go all out in releasing a large portfolio of devices that are going to be running Google's Android OS. However, it looks like not all devices are going to be categorized under smartphones, because according to the specification details spotted on GFXBench, a powerful tablet is also said to be inbound.

According to the spec details, the unnamed Nokia tablet will feature a massive screen size of 18.4-inches and will boast a crisp resolution of 2560 x 1440. The OS update running on the tablet is said to be Android Nougat 7.0 and the processor will undoubtedly be a Snapdragon 835. Remember that not too long ago, Microsoft said that it will be making ARM processors compatible with native Windows 10 desktop applications, so unless Nokia has had a terrible falling out with Microsoft, we could see the latest operating system running on this device as well.

The 18.4-inch screen is definitely an overkill for a tablet, but for work purposes it is going to be a different experience altogether. However, if it comes with running Android, then there are very limited options for users as far as work completion goes because Android isn't exactly tailored for the users that require the OS to get office work completed.

However, if you want to satisfy your entertainment animal, then the large screen will definitely come in handy. Looking at all of the powerful internals present inside the slate, we should gear up to see a powerful slate in the future, most likely during the MWC 2017 trade show, but remember to take this hardware leak with a grain of salt. Lots of unnamed phones and tablets have a habit of being spotted of GFXBench, and the end-product is a completely different gadget that what we would have hoped to see.
