India's current government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, has unleashed a bold vision to of digital transformation that empowers every citizen with the benefit of technology. This focus fosters digital literacy, brings transparency across industries including agriculture, creates infrastructure including healthcare, building smart cities and electrifying villages and fosters entrepreneurship and skill development

The current governments' tenure hence promises to be a watershed moment in the growth of IT and related innovation in India. Innovation is the key ingredient for realizing the Digital India vision. Government and industry are coming together and collaborating like never before.

With this thought in mind, Intel and Department of Science & Technology, Government of India ("DST") embarked on a journey to not just create a culture and ecosystem of innovation, but to steer innovation towards solving India's problems and announced the Intel & DST – Innovate for Digital Challenge 2.0 ("IFDI- 2.0 Challenge") in Sept 2016. The Challenge aims to drive grassroots innovation based on Intel® architecture in order to harness local talent and build solutions that address problems faced by Indian citizens.

The program focuses on harnessing solutions that provide horizontal digital transformation and are aligned to IoT and / or Datacenter and / or Cloud and / or Connectivity and / or Analytics and Open Data platform cutting across Healthcare / Smart cities / Agritech / Sustainable energy verticals

The initiative has benefited from the continued support of MyGov and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ("MeitY") and is anchored by one the largest incubator T-Hub Foundation, Hyderabad.

About Gaurav Dwivedi

Shri Gaurav Dwivedi is currently CEO of MyGov and has completed his M.Sc in anthropology from Delhi University.

An IAS Officer, Shri Dwivedi later pursued a course on project appraisal and risk management from Duke Center for International Development (DCID), Duke University, USA. Amongst several eminent positions held by Shri Dwivedi includes working as deputy director in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) located in Mussoorie. Post this, he moved to New Delhi and joined as a deputy director in the department of information and technology under the ministry of communications.

Since September 2014, Shri Gaurav Dwivedi has been serving as the CEO of MyGov – a platform created to build engagement between citizens and the government. He spearheaded PM Modi's first townhall in August last year.

Shri Gaurav Dwivedi will answer queries on the following topics -
