Should Airplane Overhead Bins Be a 'Right'? We asked our audience on social media for their thoughts.

Sen. Chuck Schumer is not happy with United Airlines' new ticket option, "Basic Economy." The policy, which was announced in November, would limit those ticket holders to one small personal item and charge extra for full-sized carry-on luggage.
The New York Democrat, in a press release on Sunday, urged United Airlines "to hit eject" on the newly announced policy that will ban the use of overhead bins for "Basic Economy" ticket holders.
"The overhead bin is one of the last sacred conveniences of air travel and the fact that United Airlines -- and potentially others -- plan to take that convenience away unless you pay up is really troubling," Schumer said.
On Monday, we posed this question to our social following: "As travelers, should free overhead bins be a right for all travelers?" Below are responses from our Twitter and Facebook audiences.
@Entrepreneur I think that United Airlines have just lost a customer.

@Entrepreneur they are just squeezing every day folks with fees but not getting anything back in return.

@Entrepreneur A right? No. It's their planes, they can charge for whatever they want. We, the consumers, will decide what stays though.
