In an on-stage interview at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2018, Dina Sherif, co-founder, Ahead of the Curve, spoke with Caroline Faraj, Vice President of Arabic Services for CNN, about her commitment to building sustainable societies.
On the sidelines of the event, Sherif talks with Entrepreneur Middle East on why different stakeholders need to come together to build entrepreneurial and innovation hubs across the Middle East. She also shares her thoughts on the biggest challenges for MENA entrepreneurs, plus her advice to entrepreneurs starting up new businesses in 2019, and what business sectors they should focus in the year ahead.
Organized by Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center, Sheraa, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SharjahEF) 2018 gathered more than 3,000 attendees consisting of youth, entrepreneurs, government partners, investors and industry veterans. The two-day event featured more than 100 prominent local, regional and international speakers.
