In his address to the guests, Wissam Younane, CEO, BNC Publishing, noted that while Qatar has been leaving no stone unturned in its bid to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country, it is still in its early stages, and thus needs to continue to be nurtured in order to grow to its full potential.

"We need to keep in mind that there's still a lot more work to be done for the entrepreneurial community here, and we at Entrepreneur continue to see a need for more investment in this space," said Younane. "Qatar is fortunate that it is seeing such a great drive for entrepreneurship right now, and so, if we continue to keep this momentum going, then we, as an ecosystem, will have played our part in helping this country realize its National Vision for 2030."

Younane also felicitated the winners at the ceremony, by saying, "I congratulate you, as you are the people who are leading this sector forward, and it is your efforts that are essentially building up Qatar, and indeed, the Middle East region as a whole as well.
